COMMUNITY VENTURES provides quality residential placement services for boys ages 13 - 17. We offer at-risk boys a safe, therapeutic, home-like environment, grounded in compassion and nurturing, wherein they may work through the issues of emotional and/or psychological distress, behavioral disorders, delinquency, dysfunctional family relations and poor educational achievement and advancement in a structured, routine based environment.

As part of our social services, we offer an environment and culture that fosters and encourages the teens in our care to make their own choices and take responsibility for their behavior. By enhancing their “everyday skills”, our system is set up so each resident is provided frequent and regular opportunities to receive feedback regarding their performance. This feedback focuses on, and amplifies, the small steps that residents make in an effort to move past their current level of behavior. Since small changes often trigger further changes, it is important to us that the client is made aware of, and appreciates, any changes that qualify as successes in achieving their personal goals.
